Sales Manager

Zino Aviation is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and strengthen the company’s position in the aviation industry. This role requires a strategic and results-driven leader who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage a sales team, and achieve revenue targets. Beyond traditional sales, the role involves contributing to business development, strategic planning, customer experience, and operational enhancements. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sales and business growth, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in meeting sales targets and building lasting client relationships. You must also be a people person—cheerful, likeable, and naturally engaging, with the ability to connect effortlessly with clients.

As part of a dynamic environment, the Sales Manager should be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable taking on and handling diverse responsibilities in a fast-growing start-up.

The job of the Sales Manager is to Contact, Convince, and Close and manage a sales team who does the same.

Key Responsibilites

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, ensuring alignment with Zino Aviation’s overall business objectives.

  • Set and manage sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks, tracking progress to optimize sales effectiveness.

  • Identify new business opportunities, client segments, and revenue streams to expand the company’s market presence.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, refining sales strategies for sustained growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, aviation professionals, training institutions, and airlines to drive sales and long-term partnerships.

  • Lead client acquisition efforts, from prospecting and lead generation to closing high-value deals.

  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.

  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations, positioning Zino Aviation as the preferred choice.

  • Train and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to optimize performance.

  • Oversee the sales pipeline and CRM system (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), ensuring accurate tracking of leads, conversions, and sales performance, while preparing regular reports for senior management.

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role, demonstrating leadership in driving revenue growth and team performance.

  • Experience in aviation training, aviation services, or related industries (preferred but not mandatory), with an understanding of industry dynamics.

  • Strong B2B and B2C sales expertise, with a deep understanding of client acquisition, retention strategies, and customer lifecycle management.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) for sales tracking, pipeline management, and client relationship management.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a proven ability to close high-value deals and drive revenue growth.

  • A true “people person” —cheerful, likable, and bubbly, with a natural ability to connect, engage, and build trust effortlessly.

  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends, using insights to refine sales strategies and optimize performance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace, ensuring efficient reporting, presentations, and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and build lasting client relationships.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales, business development, and exceeding revenue goals.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a results-oriented culture and mentoring high-performing sales teams.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, ensuring efficiency in sales operations, reporting, and client follow-ups.

  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust, handle objections, and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to challenges and a keen ability to navigate dynamic business environments.
